Broken Vows is book five in the Barrington Family Series by Chris Taylor. Detective Zac Barrington had been away from his hometown of Broken for a while when he decided to come back and work with his brother at Broken came back to Broken to work with his brother at the Broken Police Station. Detective Zac Barrington never thought he would see his high school sweetheart again. However, he was wrong. Emily Wilson turns up at the Broken Police Station to report her mother missing. The readers of Broken Vows will continue following Detective Zac Barrington’s investigation into Emily’s mother’s disappearance to find out what happens.
Broken Vows is another fantastic addition to this excellent series by Chris Taylor. The way Chris Taylor highlights social issues that affect everyone, and I like Chris Taylor’s writing style and how she portrays her characters throughout her books. Broken Vows continue my love affair with Chris Taylor’s books, and I engage with this book from the first page. Broken Vows was well written and researched by Chris Taylor. I like Chris Taylor’s description of the settings of Broken Vows, which allowed me to imagine being part of the book’s plot.
The readers of Broken Vows will learn about the role of pediatric nurses in an oncology ward. Also, the readers of Broken Vows will understand the importance of following safety protocol at a mining sight.
